OUR HISTORY
Klinsta was founded in September 2000 by Boun Klijnstra (N.H.D.Eng (Elec - l/c)). Boun had worked in the Electronic Communications and Industrial sector since 1991. In 2015 Dominic Barbieri CA (SA) joined Klinsta as a shareholder and director, with a focus on new business development.
Klinsta prides itself on its association with partners and products of the highest calibre, ensuring technologically superior and robust solutions. Our association with Bosch Security Systems dates back to when Bosch, in 2003, acquired Philips' Security Solutions, a division founded by Philips in 1991.
Klinsta’s long-standing relationship with Bosch has enabled it to gain intimate Bosch product knowledge and a deep understanding of Bosch's design philosophy.
Klinsta is a certified Bosch Systems Integrator in the following Bosch Security Divisions – Intelligent Video Systems, Access Control, Voice Evacuation/Public Address, Fire and Intrusion Detection and Conference Systems.
In 2020 Waheed Hoosen, with more than 20 years in the ICT sector joined Klinsta to head up it’s ICT division, offering a wide suite of products and services to our customers.
More recently, Klinsta has expanded the solutions it offers to include Workspace Automation, Solar Power & Energy Storage.
At Klinsta will continue to invest in people and infrastructure to ensure we remain your Systems Integration Partner of choice.
